FAQ
Yes, you can! Get in early and pay for your entry on your way in – limited spots are available so first in, best dressed.
Door prices will be $65 on Saturdays from 11:00 am, $45 Saturdays from 5:00 pm, and $45 on Fridays and Sundays.
Entry will also be subject to the venue capacity at the time, so a short delay may be experienced.
If this doesn’t suit, we recommend purchasing tickets for another fun-filled day.
Ja!
Social Members get 5% off at the bar and bistro, Full Members get 10% off.
You can sign-up for a digital social membership in-venue via QR Code or online here, which will give you a membership card in your smartphone wallet. $5 for one year and you’ll receive 5% off and birthday and other perks. See our main website for full details.
Some exclusions to the discounts do apply – but we’ll let you know if that’s the case – generally just ‘special’ or ‘happy’ things that we’re forbidden from advertising or discussing online anyway!
Children (under 18 years-old) are welcome but given we are a licensed venue, must stay in close proximity to their guardian at all times.
If you’re thinking of bringing little ones, we suggest Sunday 18th October which is our designated Family Day with additional entertainment and activities for the kids.
Entry for children is free and you do not need to reserve a ticket for them.
No, sorry, you cannot bring your doggo 🙁
Whilst we otherwise encourage dogs to bring their humans with them to enjoy our Biergarten, unfortunately, the festival layout and crowds do not make for a doggo-friendly environment.
Service animals are of course most welcome.
Ja, absolutely!
Please ensure you let our team know on your way out that you plan on returning so that they can give you everything you need to rejoin us.
Re-entry is subject to venue capacity at the time, so there may be a short delay, but you will be prioritised over those waiting to purchase entry at the door.
We will happily assist in swapping tickets to alternate days with a minimum of 14 days notice. Please note, this is subject to availability and will incur a small administration fee of $5.
A variety of food will be on offer, and the kitchen will do its best to accommodate dietary needs. Please understand that nuts, wheat, seafood, soy product and other allergens are prepared on site, and cross contamination may occur. Please let staff know of your requirements at the time of ordering.
Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be exchanged for a different day with 14 days notice, subject to availability.

Please ensure you have your membership card with you to facilitate your express entry.
Each full member will be gifted one 0.5lt stein for the festival which you can collect on your first visit, and take home with you, or return to the bar to be recollected and reused on another festival day if you’re planning on returning.

Wines, spirits, and cocktails, will all be served in perspex cups. These are reusable and not available to take home.
Please note that you will only be permitted to leave with one stein each – you cannot ‘take glassware for friends’ unless they are leaving with you. As unfortunately, in past years, there have been more imaginary ‘friends’ than paying patrons!
Ja!
You can upgrade your stein from 500ml to 1,000ml for $20 (subject to availability)
No further member discounts apply.

Takeaway sales are not permitted on event days, sorry.
No, sorry. They are too complicated on festival days and get in the way of having fun!
However, you can pre-purchase bar credit in the form of voucher(s) that we’ll have ready for you at entry on your chosen day which just need to be scanned at the bar(s) or bistro to be used.
Head on over to https://oktoberfest-brisbanegermanclub.square.site/ once you’ve purchased your entrance tickets for all the options and details.
These vouchers will be valid for three years.

About Brisbane German Club Oktoberfest 2026
Originating in Munich, Oktoberfest has been an annual highlight of The Brisbane German Club since 1975. From humble beginnings on club-owned land in Thornlands, the festival now expands throughout the Vulture Street Clubhouse, Bierhalle and Biergarten.
This year, in 2026, Oktoberfest is bigger and better than ever. We’ll have a rotation of all six official Munich Oktoberfest breweries on tap, alongside our usual range of draught Bier, meaning all 24 taps on our main bar will be pouring nothing but imported German Bier brewed and served in compliance with Germany’s infamous Bier purity law.
Add to this a wide range of bottled Bier, local beer, schnapps, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic Bier and softdrinks, we’ve got your thirst absolutely quenched.
The event of course also features an abundance traditional German food, featuring our renowned crispy pork knuckle & schnitzel burgers & many other favourites, a wide array of live entertainment, merchandise, festival games, and activities.
Running every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for all 5 weekends in October, each of the 14 event days promises to be different from the next, with a unique schedule each day.
